I'm not clear how the first is an argument, exactly. Can you clarify?
The second has a somewhat different issue--the two problems (exposure to violence and lack of counseling) are very far apart and would be hard to blend in one paper. In fact, both would probably be hard to explore in one paper. Still, wondering about the media's role in all this would be very fitting for the course.
