Jessica- Thesis Statement

According to the New York Times, "A tsunami warning system that could have saved thousands of lives in Southeast Asia is being encouraged by the United Nations. The technology to detect earthquakes under the sea and predict their consequences already exists in the Pacific and must now be extended to the Indian Ocean." This reaility shows us the fact that with booming technology, under-established countries should also be introduced with safety measures by being provided and equipped with warning systems and before-hand alerts instead of the lack of preparations which results in the loss of lives.
