Veronica Guncay,"fighting for his life"

Last week there was a gathering at one of my friends house,I remember we were all talking when one of my friends bother took a newspaper out of his book bag and said,showing at the cover,"how old do you think he is?".the person in the picture could have been 3ft tall but his face look from an old person, the response from all of us was that he could be ages from 20 to 30 years old.we were all surprise to find out that the person in the picture was only a 10year old kid.later on we all went to our house.before leaving I ask for the news paper because I was interested to know the story of the kid, to know what he was going throw since he was on the cover page and the headline said "fighting for his life". when i went home i found out that he suffer from a strange disease that according to the article only occur 1 out of 20,000 birth. Christopher Alvarez suffer from Thanaphoric Dysplasia and restrictive lung disease.He was diagnose that the has suffering from some kind of disorder at an early stage of Maria pregnancy.The doctors told he mother,Maria to abort,but because of her religion she could do it and specially because he was her son.the doctor told her that her some had small possibilities of living long since from previews cases they seem that babies that suffer from that same disease die shortly after been given birth.For doctors is surprising to see that this kid have live for ten years but they still tell the mother to be ready for the worst.In the article Maria Say's that thanks to the love from her and her husband have giving to him e has live.She also indicates the even though Christopher have that disease he is a good student,loves live,that one day he wants to be a wrestler and that he has a passion for math and deports.Maria said that her husband and her take have been doing everything they can to help their son.They work hard, they take turns going to work sine the medications and other thing he needs are very expensive and taking care of Christopher since he always have to be taken care at all times.
These was the first story that came to mind because it was impressing to see that a child with those conditions have live long and loves live.that his parents give him all the love they have and because of their hard efforts this kid is still living.This story also made me think that sometimes us that are perfectly OK don't appreciate life as we should,that we are not happy with little things that can be fix.but these kind that's unable to do a lot of things because his disease don't let him,he loves lives and is not whole back because of his condition.He has aspirations for the future.
