Every news channel I turned on December 27, 2007, I remember people mentioning how tragic it was Ms.Bhutto been assassinated. My thoughts went back to Abraham Lincoln, the honest Abe who trying to end slavery. He was doing a great deed and bring end to injustice. Wasn’t Bhutto doing the same to save her people? Help her country to dictorship and terrorism to an end. I think this story touched my heart a lot not because she was Asian, but because she was women trying to fight the plaque in male dominating world. I think for any world it hard to see a women take on leader role; I think that how our society view as. Even if we look at recent events, Mrs. Clinton going through the same struggle in the president elections. I feel shame that even she died there isn’t any solid evidence who might committed such horrifying crime. Even though if the real criminal is found guilty there was nothing done to punish the person or people who were responsible.
There isn’t any actual fact or evidence was shot or bomb. How can we blame some people for her attack? I think the important question is why was she target? Who planned this crime to take place? Was the president of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf involved? He believed to be Bhutto biggest and long time rival. Was the president of Pakistan afraid that women like Bhutto throw him out power, which he been holding for long time? There so many question, but the most important why was another innocent women slay? Is it hard for men to accept the fact that women can as well men can do a better job in politics? I don’t know what will happen in coming years, whether women will always be suppress for their rights. I just hope people can understand and give women chance to stand up. Women have always struggle for their rights and if it means sacrifice of some great women. I think it safe to say we are ready .What it takes; we must stand up and move the ladder.

I agree with Nikita that women have struggled throughout history and I was actually very shocked when I heard about her death. I idn't know why people hated her so much but reading your blog has explained alot.
